Every project is different, but the way I work stays consistent: I start by understanding your goals, I design with your learners in mind, and I build to your standards — on time and ready to deploy.
Whether you need a complete course built from scratch or experienced development support to augment your team, here's what working together looks like.
Ways We Can Work Together
Not every project needs the same approach. Here are the most common ways clients engage me:

My Process
1. Discovery - We start with a conversation. You tell me about your project — the learning challenge, your audience, your timeline, and your technical requirements. I ask questions, share relevant experience, and help clarify scope. If your project involves regulated content or NDA considerations, we handle that upfront.
What you get: A clear understanding of whether I'm the right fit, and if so, what the next steps look like.
2. Scoping and Proposal - I follow up with a written summary of what we discussed — the project scope, deliverables, timeline, and investment. For larger projects, this may include a phased approach with milestones. For smaller engagements, a straightforward scope and estimate.
What you get: A clear proposal so you know exactly what you're getting, when, and at what cost. No surprises.
3. Design and Storyboarding - For full builds, I develop the instructional design approach and storyboard — learning objectives, content structure, interaction strategy, and visual direction. I work with your subject matter experts to validate content accuracy and ensure the learning experience meets your audience's needs.
What you need: Access to your SMEs for content review, any existing materials, brand guidelines, and timely feedback on storyboards.
4. Development - I build the learning experience in your chosen authoring tool — Articulate Storyline, Rise, or Adobe Captivate — using variables, triggers, branching scenarios, and custom interactions as needed. I produce multimedia assets (graphics, audio, video) and integrate narration. For teams with existing storyboards, I can jump straight to development.
What you need: Availability for review checkpoints and access to any internal resources (brand assets, content repositories, LMS specs).
5. QA and Testing - Every module goes through a quality assurance pass — functionality testing, accessibility review, and SCORM validation on SCORM Cloud before delivery. I test interactions, check navigation, verify tracking, and ensure the module behaves as expected across environments.
What you get: A tested, working module — not a draft.
6. Delivery and Deployment - I package the final course as a SCORM file (or your preferred format) and provide everything you need for LMS deployment — organized files, documentation, and support for the upload process. If your project includes web-hosted assets, I manage those as well.
What you get: Ready-to-deploy learning content, plus any supporting materials your team needs.
